Glitter Angel

This card started out as an attempt at a stained glass window card using the Stylized Angel die. Well, that was an epic fail and ended in the recycle bin. So I decided to not try and complicate things and just go simple.

For the cover of my card base I cut a full A2 size piece of patterned paper from the Echo Park Winter Wishes paper collection. From a smaller panel, I cut out the Stylized Angel. I also cut the angel out of black cardstock to get the black outline. And finally, I cut the angel several times from different coloured glitter cardstock.

Using some Alene’s Tacky Glue, I inset each piece of the die cut into the area left over from the white panel cut out. The only piece that I didn’t use glitter cardstock for was the face, which I coloured using my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers.

I adhered all my card panels together and then stamped a small sentiment below the angel. She literally glows!
