The centerpiece of this card is the Honey Bee Little Pickup stamp. I stamped it on my Spectrum Noir cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured him in with my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers. Bright red is the perfect colour for a pick up truck that delivers Christmas trees – am I right?
Once the truck was coloured, I stamped the tree from the same set in Versamark Embossing Ink. I coated the tree with evergreen embossing powder and heated it with my heat tool. I cut the image out with my stitched oval dies and set it aside.
I chose a few country plaid papers for my background from the Recollections North Pole Gazette collection. I also used a border strip from the same patterned paper and added some bakers twine. Then I layered my stitched rectangle oval with my pickup truck on top. And finally, I added my sentiment.
I’m definitely looking forward to sending these out this holiday season!
