Snowy Ornament - Teal
Cards, Christmas Cards

Snowy Ornaments

These cards were another exercise in using up some older supplies. I pulled out my Sookwang Double Sided tape again, this time with some christmas outline ornaments on top. Then I covered them in glitter and fussy cut them out.

I used my watercolours to add tint to the glitter and then layered them on a white matte.

For the backgrounds, I used some more thick metallic foil sheets, run through my embossing folders. For the card above, it was a beautiful teal colour that really set off the silver outline sticker and watercolouring.

For the card below, I used a red foil sheet and I coloured the silver ornament with my black Spectrum Noir Alcohol Marker to make it stand out more from the background.

All that was left was to add a sentiment panel. For the teal card I used the My Favorite Things Bitty Holiday Wishes and for the red card I chose a larger Stampin’ Up sentiment stamp.
