Living up here on the east coast of Canada, in the middle of the covid pandemic, speedy shipping can be a bit of a challenge, especially at Christmas. So when the December 2020 Simon Says Stamp card kit arrived just before Christmas 2020, I knew there would be no making use of it for this card sending season. But you know that that does mean? A jump start on the holiday cards for 2021 in January – woo hoo!
I really wanted to make use of all the fabulous papers and embellishments of this paper collection. So I decided to use several of the pre-printed snap cards that had sentiments, and then use the papers to compliment them.
I chose one of my standard card sketches, which is a horizontal split and then some complimentary embellishments off to one side. This time I mixed it up a bit though by having two vertical border papers.

I’m lucky enough that I have a bunch of supplies still left over from the kit, and I managed to snag a few of the 12×12 collection kits in a scrapbook discount sale, so I suspect you’ll see more of this fabulous paper line again!
