I want to try sending more cards in 2021. My biggest card sending Holidays are Halloween and Christmas, but there are so many wonderful products out there that it seems a shame to limit ones’ self to just two occasions a year. And while I make cards all year long with some fabulous stamps and dies, paper and inks, ribbon and sequins, I don’t send a lot outside of October and December. So, a personal goal for 2021 – send more cards!
Now, here in Eastern Canada, we’ll be immersed in snow and winter chill until well into March, so I decided to make some winter, but not Christmas, themed cards. This little guy is making the most of the winter season by slapping on his ice skates and heading out!
I pulled several papers from the BoBunny Altitude collection for this card, and layered them up behind this great polar bear stamp from My Favorite Things. I coloured him in using a mix of Spectrum Noir and Nuvo alcohol markers.
I heat embossed a little sentiment strip from another designer paper from the Altitude line, and then finished the card off with a little row of Liquid Pearl Drops.
