Another attempt to use up some paper stacks that have been sitting in my craft room for far too long. This time it’s the DCWV Wild Splendour Stack. A beautiful collection of papers with fall colours and some glitter accents.
I challenged myself a bit to try and stay all within the same paper stack on this card, so I picked out three designer papers that I thought I could use in different layers.
Then I stamped some foliage images from the Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Flowers 2 stamp set and the All Seasons Wreath stamp set from Cardmaking & Papercraft Magazine. This was a free set that came with the magazine – an impulse buy that I’m trying to put to good use.
I stamped and embossed the foliage images using Recollections Gold Detail embossing powder, and then coloured them in using my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.
Overall, a very simple card with a pretty autumn vibe, and a perfect way to say thank you on this Canadian Thanksgiving.
