Golden Anniversary

Celebrating 50 years of marriage is definitely reason to celebrate, so when my parents got invited to a golden anniversary party for their friends they asked for a special card.

I decided to try using my new Center Cut Heart Background stamp with a few different techniques. I actually ended up making two full cards and part of a third that I will hold onto for another time, but my favourite for the occasion was this one. White embossing on vellum and then using the coordinating Deco Heart die in gold really made this card a stand out.

I then framed the entire card in a gold cardstock and added a small sentiment with “50” cut out in the same gold cardstock using my Silhouette Cameo.

Simple yet stunning.

This is so beautiful. I love that those two coordinate together. And gold and white are just perfect for a wedding or anniversary. Thanks so much for joining us for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. I hope you’ll join us again soon.
