I don’t think it will come as a surprise to anyone who knows me but…I love glitter! It’s messy and it gets everywhere, but the wow factor that it adds to paper crafts just can’t be beat!
Chari Moss made a beautiful set of cards for a Lawn Fawn demo, and when I saw her technique I knew I wanted to try it myself. I changed up the colours, the sentiment style and the layout quite a bit, but the idea behind it was the same. Her original video can be seen here.
I love how you can make two versions of this card in one go, using the die cuts you remove from one card to place on another. So here I used Martha Stewart glitter in Crystal Fine and Lapus Lazuli which is an absolutely stunning blue. Here is the second version I made using the negative parts of the glitter die cuts.
I’m not sure you can get the full effect of how much these cards sparkle in pictures, but trust me when I say they will seriously stand out among the cards on your mantelpiece.
