I don’t know if this classifies as crafting or recycling, but I love it. Believe it or not, that glitter is actually glass crushed up super fine and does it ever sparkle.
I have had a bottle of glass glitter on my shelf for at least 4 years now, never used, never opened. In fact, the store I bought it from doesn’t even exist anymore. So this year I promised myself I would use it on at least one card, and this one was it.
Overall, I love the look it creates, very vintage Christmas, and it was easy to apply using a thick bead of glue. It can be a little sharp though if you run your finger over it, so I would probably avoid sending it to any households with little ones.
Inspiration for this card came from this card by Ilina Crouse.
