Yes, there’s a story here. Believe it or not, this was NOT Halloween – this was the school spring fling face painting day. I left my husband specific instructions, and even a photo, to paint a little Pikachu on his face for face painting day. It wasn’t until I met my son after school that I saw this…let’s just call it “artistic interpretation”. I swear he looked like a Zombie Pikachu with those big black circles around his eyes. So to commemorate this hilarious moment of Dad fail, I created this layout.
I picked out some lovely designer paper that would match the colours of the photos. I layered them, again creating that common margin all around the edge to center my photos on. I placed the photos at the top, and then left a huge amount of room on a looseleaf designer paper sheet for my journaling, because this story was too good not share.
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the layered title for the layout, which I absolutely love. Then I added a few of the Tim Holtz Zombie stamps to add to the zombie theme, and a little pikachu die cut.
This is one moment we will surely never forget.
