Winter Bear on Skates

My Mom picked up this set of 4 stamps a while back at a yard sale. I have no idea where they came from or what company produced them. The only thing I could find was a mark in the corner that says P. Hillman. Alas, my Google-fu failed me, because search as I might I have never been able to find out the artist or company who produced these stamps.

That said, they’re a super cute set of little bears dressed in various cozy winter outfits making the most of the cold and snow, and I knew I wanted to try and use them.

I stamped and coloured the little bear on Spectrum Noir paper first and coloured her using a combination of Spectrum Noir markers and watercolours. After cutting her out I needed to build her a winter scene, so I pulled out some new stamps and dies to paint the picture. In this case, old supplies meet new for the cutest little winter outing.
