I made a promise to myself in 2019 that I would try and participate in more online challenges, and since Simon Says Stamp has become my new favourite resource for all things paper crafting, I thought I would try my hand at their weekly blog challenges.
They do two challenges a week, one on Monday and one on Wednesday. I can’t say I will manage to enter something for both every single week, but I am going to try! At the very least, I would like to submit at least one project per week – we’ll see how it goes. I must say, it’s a great way to get the creative juices flowing, and build up a little catalog of cards to use whenever you might have need.
So this weeks Monday Challenge was “Things with Wheels”. Well I don’t have a lot of stamps with wheels, but I had a great travel themed paper pack from Echo Park called Get Away. As part of the pack was a sticker sheet that included a cute little bicycle. Once I decided to use that as my focal point, the rest of the card was fairly easy, using patterned paper from the same pack.
Supplies
