Valentine's Day Bookmarks

For the love of books

Every year my son comes home with a pile of Valentine’s and candy goodies from school on February 14th, but somehow I always run out of time to make something really special for him to take in return. So this year, with a little better planning on my part, I managed to make bookmarks that he can give to out to his friends and classmates. They’re cute and fun, but also really practical because his friends can use them long after Valentine’s.

All these bookmarks feature the Simon Says Stamp I Chews You stamp set. And I hope his friends love the fun little characters and sayings as much as we did making them.

In total we made 30 bookmarks, 6 of each design below, and a few extras for his friends in other classes.

Milkshake bookmark
This was one of my favourites. The cute little strawberry milkshake with the cherry on top!
Toadally Awesome Bookmark
Who wouldn’t love this “Toad-ally awesome” bookmark?
Taco bookmark
This one was a lot of fun, with the great paper from Jillibean Soup and the cute stamps from Simon Says Stamp.
Gumbelievable Bookmark
I’ve used this stamp before to make a shaker card, but this time I left it just as a stamp with some awesome polka-dot paper.
Guacamole Bookmark
This one ended up being my son’s favourite, so we’ll see if he saves one for himself after school!
