While fairly simple, this card packs a lot of punch with the beautiful floral paper and wreath focal point – and of course that hint of shine in the embossed sentiment circle.
I started creating the background with a patterned paper from the kit and a matching cardstock. I joined the two, as I often do, with a strip of ribbon – this time from Offray.
In the upper portion of the card, I cut two wreath dies in different colour greens and layered them on top of each other, to fill out the wreath. I also added flowers, cut from the Spellbinders Joy Etched Die and a little dot of Nuvo Crystal Drops in white.
I stamped the “Sending Hugs” sentiment from the kit in Versamark and heat embossed it in gold. Using some foam tape I popped that sentiment up in the middle of my wreath. And just to add a little something extra to the bottom half of the card, I cut a small tab out using the Spellbinders Label 3 dies and stamped one of the tiny word sentiments, also from the card kit stamp set.
