My Father loves to sail, so whenever it comes time to make a card for him – be it birthday, father’s day, whatever – I find myself turning to my nautical themed products.
This time my first go-to supply was the Ahoy There paper pack from Echo Park. The colours are so bright and vibrant that not only do they embody the nautical theme but also the fun of summer. I also knew I wanted to make a porthole type window on the front with a stamped sailboat image.
With all that mapped out, this card really came together quite easily. I think the hardest part was choosing which patterned papers to use.
Happy Father’s Day Dad – you’re the best!
