Red Glitter Snowflake Card

I decided to revisit some inspiration from the January 2021 Simon Says Stamp card kit for the Holidays. While this kit didn’t arrive on my doorstep until February 2021, there were a lot of amazing projects being shared on social media at the time. I decided to pull out all the snowflake products in my stash to see what creative ideas came to mind. Apparently it was a lot, because I have a bunch of snowflake inspired cards to share!

The background paper is from the BoBunny Altitude collection. I stamped several different snowflakes on the background paper in Hickory Smoke Distress Ink, and some others I heat embossed in silver. The snowflake die, called Filigree Snowflake, is from Cottage Cutz. And the sentiment, from My Favorite Things, is heat embossed in silver embossing powder. I covered the die cut in Martha Stewart ultra fine glitter in Carnelian, added a few select sequins in stunning red, and a simple sentiment strip.

The grey and red colour combination really is eye catching. So much so, that I made another version as well. Stay tuned for that in my next post coming tomorrow!
