Quoth the Raven

A great background stamp can make creating a card so fast and easy. In this case, I took the Raven Background stamp from Stampendous and inked him onto a piece of Strathmore Bristol cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then I used a variety of Distress Inks and Distress Oxides to create a Halloween colour blend in the background.

I stamped my background stamp out on an additional piece of white cardstock so I could cut out just the raven and pop him up on the card front.

A bit of twine and a Halloween brad finishes off this card and adds a bit of fun visual interest. My twine was black and grey, but I just used a bit of Dylusions spray ink and turned it to orange and black to match my card.
