Peek-a-Boo Frenchies

This stamp set from Simon Says Stamp continues to be one of my favourites! I couldn’t resist using the little french bulldog peaking out of the jack-o-lantern for a few Halloween cards.

I started with my Frenchie, stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black on Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth Premium White cardstock. I coloured him in using my Spectrum Noir markers and then fussy cut him out. Then I cut a an oval frame from black cardstock and an oval insert from some Halloween designer paper. I popped up my stamped image with foam dots, and then embellished the front of the card with my sentiment strip, also cut from designer paper, and my glossy enamel dots. Just enough sparkle to catch your eye, but not enough to detract from the super cuteness of this little trick or treater.

I actually made two versions of this card, with some different patterned papers from the same collections. Here’s version number two:

Halloween Frenchie

Cardstock – Bazzill and Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth Premium White
Paper – Recollections Haunted, Me & My Big Ideas Halloween, and My Mind’s Eye Happy Haunting
Stamps – Simon Says Stamps Fall Frenchies
Dies – My Favorite Things Inside & Outside Stitched Ovals
Spectrum Noir Markers
Glossy enamel dots – Recollections
