I had made a series of cards using a particular piece of designer paper from the Bo Bunny Whiteout Collection. When I looked at the pieces left behind, this one huge sparkling snowflake remained. It’s such a pretty paper that features champagne coloured glitter snowflakes and I thought it would be a waste not to use it, so I cropped it down to a 5″ square and applied it onto a piece of heavy weight cardstock in matching navy.
I stamped a sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Winter Skies stamp set onto a thin navy cardstock strip and backed it with a strip of shiny vellum. The finishing touch was adding Nuvo Crystal Drops in Morning Dew, which dries clear, at the bases of each outer point.
This was a fairly quick and simple card to produce, but the result is really stunning.
