It might be getting a bit beyond hot cocoa time, but I couldn’t help pulling this cute little guy out for one more card before the weather turns nice!
I started by stamping my Fall Frenchie stamp on Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth White cardstock and colouring him in using my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. Then I fussy cut him out. I pulled out a super old paper collection from Stampin’ Up called Blueberry Crisp that features some beautiful vibrant blues mixed with shades of grey. Then I just created a few layers of patterned paper and cardstock, topped off with a square of white cardstock cut using the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles dies. I’m really getting a lot of mileage from these stitched shape sets. I find that little stitched edge just adds the perfect finishing touch to an ordinarily boring shape.
I stamped my sentiment from the same Fall Frenchies stamp set in Stampin’ Up ink, and finished the card off with a few drops of Liquid Pearls in Silver Pearl.
