I think Spellbinders Paper Arts knocked it out of the park when they came up with these swinging/dancing dies. They have a bunch of them – you might recall I used Grim for Halloween Cards. Well, these little gingerbread cookies are another design in the series and they are so much fun and so cute.
The first task, albeit a laborious one, is to cut and assemble all the die cuts. I added a bit of ink shading as well to these for dimension, but you could skip that step. Once they’re all mostly assembled, I created the card base using some patterned paper from the Echo Park A Gingerbread Christmas paper collection. I must have really liked this line because I somehow ended up with two full packages of it!
Once the base was done, you can then assemble the dies on top. You have to do this separately in order to put them together in a way that will allow them to swing/dance on your card front! Spellbinders has lots of videos on how to put these guys together if you’re stuck. If you haven’t tried these fun dies, I recommend choosing one you would like and go for it. I just can’t help playing with them once they’re made!
