I wish the photograph really showed off the foiled shine on these cards, but they really are lovely in person.
I’m still very much getting used to using my Minc foiling machine, and these cards are the result of some of my experimentation. I had learned you could use solid toner paper and the left over foil from a previous project to create the inverse pattern, so I wanted to try it. Here I started out with some Gina K Foil Mates Ornamental Holiday. I foiled those and then used the left over foil from that project to foil them again.
With a background so stunning, you don’t really want to cover it up. So on these cards I just used a simple inverse scallop frame, a die cut sentiment and a small sentiment strip.
