I just cannot get enough of these Frenchie stamp sets from Simon Says. There’s a fall set and a summer set – and if anyone is watching, please consider this a formal request for a “Festive Frenchies” set for the Holiday!
My son made many of the decisions for this card, since it was coming from him. So the shape, stamp used, sentiment, etc – all came from him. I just put together his vision.
I started on Spectrum Noir Smooth White cardstock and stamped and coloured my image using Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers. I added the background sunrays with a stencil and ink blenders.
I knew I wanted to crop the main puppy pic down to a circle, so to create some visual interest in the background I ran the white mat through my die-cut machine with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Windy Background cover plate.
I mounted my image on it’s own circular mat and layered all the pieces, adding a summer sentiment at the bottom.
