The beautiful BoBunny paper line Anthem is on display in full with this layout. And I found a great photo online of some star spangled ballet shoes to go with it.

I completed this layout for both the Sketchabilities Challenge #132 and the Let’s Get Sketchy – January Week 2 Challenge.

So I tried using my own style but adding a new technique I saw where the photo was layered up from underneath with ephemera. I thought this photo of the ballet shoes went perfectly with this paper line, so I decided to give it a try. Using a lot of pop up dots in various thicknesses and in some cases doubled and tripled up, I was able to achieve enough differentiation between each piece of ephemera, enough so they each stand out on their own, but the picture still takes center stage.
