Butterflies in a Cage – Thinking of You Card

The signs of Spring are starting here in Nova Scotia, and I used that inspiration to create some Spring cards. Spring means butterflies, birds, flowers and greenery.

I started with the beautiful Caged Bird steel rule die by Tim Holtz for Sizzix, cut from Tim Holtz Metallic Gold cardstock. I cut some fabulous butterflies from the DCWV Magnolia Stack, one of my all time favourites, and then stamped and coloured a variety of florals and greenery to decorate. Finally, I stamped and embossed my sentiment with Hero Arts White Detail embossing powder on black.
