Birthday Margaritas Card

I ordered this die when it first came out specifically to make a birthday card for a friend. I wasn’t 100% sure what I wanted to background to be, but I knew the die would feature prominently.

In the end I decided to make it really colourful by doing a tropical colour blend of Distress Inks on Strathmore Bristol and then embossing the whole panel with the Simon Says Stamp Kaleidoscope embossing folder.

Then I die cut all my pieces, stacked up a few versions for dimension, and adhered them to the card. I added some fun to the margarita die by using a layer of vellum, coloured on the back side, and a rim of unicorn confetti glitter.

All that’s left is to celebrate with the real thing!
