This poor thing is just stumbling out of the cemetary on Halloween night in search of BRAINS!
If you haven’t figured out by now, I am a big fan of black silhouette cards for Halloween. When I found this image on my Silhouette Design Studio store I knew she would be a great addition to my Halloween image library. Because I wanted to make her the focal point, I decided to make a card outside my normal 4×6 inch card size, and increase it to 6×6. This gave me the opportunity to cut her out a little larger, and still have room on the card front for a bit of scenery.
I typically turn to my dylusions ink sprays to make a sunset background, but for this card I decided to give my distress inks a crack at it. It turned out really well and much less mess than I tend to make with my ink sprays.
The background script stamp really adds an interesting visual element to this card that I really like, but doesn’t detract from the spooky scene.
Supplies:
Cardstock – Bazzill
