I have had these huge glitter pumpkin embellishments from Jolee’s Boutique in my stash forever! They are so sparkly I knew I had to have them, and then I loved them so much I think I didn’t want to use them up. But…in the spirit of using my stash of crafty goodies, I decided to make cards with them this year.
With an embellishment that large, it’s really just a matter of what to put in the background. For this card I used the Simon Says Stamp Gothic Halloween background stamp, embossed in clear embossing powder on black cardstock. It just gives enough subtle texture and interest to the background and won’t be overpowered by the pumpkin. I then added a strip of glittery patterned paper to the bottom, cause you can never have too much glitter, and separated the two with a ribbon that also serves as the sentiment.
