My favourite part of this medieval layout is the lacing up the left hand side. I had a vision of doing a corset type treatment on a page and I’m so glad it worked out.
I pulled out the BoBunny Cambridge Collection paper for this layout, and it’s an interesting combination of distressed grunge and rich colours. I added a bit of glitter with the chipboard letters, but even those have a distressed treatment because I used some gold leaf flakes my husband had given me as a stocking stuffer, and then I roughed over them with a bit of light sand paper after they were applied to create some roughness in their application.
