With the whole world is social distancing and a lot of services are closed, finding a flower shop to send Mother’s Day blooms might be a bit tough. So instead, maybe send some paper flowers that are just as pretty – and last longer!
I returned to my Carta Bella Botanical Garden stack for this card, pulling out what has to be my favourite two papers in the collection, the red and black swiss dots and the coral flowers on black. I paired these with some fussy cut flowers I coloured with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. The stamps were one of those free sets that came with a papercraft magazine that I paid far too much for, but couldn’t resist.
A little black chiffon ribbon with white swiss dots and a sentiment strip and this card was done! Now to just get it in the mail in time for delivery.
