I have a good friend who deserved a little something special this year, and I knew she would enjoy the holiday humour!
This card started out with the sentiment. I knew EXACTLY what I wanted that to be. I pulled out my trusty Silhouette Cameo machine, found some designs from the design store that I could modify slightly, and cut out a few versions from white cardstock so I could stack them up for added dimension. Yes, that’s a trick I learned from Jennifer McGuire.
Inside is another little surprise because it has a cute little deer silhouette that says “Let’s get blitzened!” Again, it’s an appropriate sentiment for the past year.
I used some Distress Oxide inks on the letters and my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers on the hat and shoes to colour them up.
Then I had to find the right background paper. Every pattern I tried was just too busy, so in the end I chose this amazing gold glitter paper from The Paper Stack and the match was made. I also used a foiled red and white stripe around the end to make it extra fun!
And if there wasn’t enough sparkle already, I added green stickles on the hat and shoes!
