On a 4.25 by 5.5 inch card, you only have so much surface to play with, and only so many ways you can piece and layer patterned paper and cardstock together. So how can you add more visual interest to your card while still maintaining the goal of using up your paper collection? Add texture with an embossing folder!
For this card I had all the pieces and die cuts laid out, but I thought it was missing something. That’s when I reached for the Regency Swirls embossing folder from Crafters’ Companion. I had actually received this folder as part of a prize package give away, so this was the first time I’d used it. It’s so pretty and has so much details that I’m sure I’ll be using it again in the near future.
After that, the card came together pretty easily, featuring a great sentiment from the matching frames and tags pack.
