This card was inspired by the amazing project Jessica Frost-Ballas posted for the Lawn Fanatics design group here. I really liked all the sparkle and shine she got on her bulb dies, so I tried to repeat that on mine. While they didn’t turn out as clean or sparkly as Jessica’s, I still liked the result enough to use them on my cards.
This was also the first time I tried Glossy Accents…I know, I’ve been a paper crafter how long? I’ve been clearly hoarding my Glossy Accents stash, afraid of running out, so I’ve never used it. I learned a few things – like a little goes a long way, and don’t try to straighten the paper if it curls, because you’ll crack the glossy accents finish. Maybe next time will be better.
