I went pulling out an oldie but goodie stamp set for this card. I wanted to make a string of lights background first, so I dug out the Stampin’ Up Bright Bulbs roller wheel stamp I have in my stash. Now by this point I had completely removed all my roller stamps from the roller and mounted them on some EZ mount foam so I can use them in my stamp positioner tool. This actually makes getting the patterned background easier.
So I stamped the bulbs all the way down the page in embossing ink, embossed them in silver, and then coloured them randomly with markers.
Next I stamped and die but the sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Making Spirit Brights stamp set. And to embellish the front, I made my own bulb die cuts using the Simon Says Stamp Christmas Bulbs, some blending inks, a little glitter and glossy accents to make them shine.
