A Cornucopia of Fall Cards

I fell in love with the Doodlebug Design Pumpkin Spice line when they released it last year, and I’ve been hoarding it since last fall. This year I decided to try putting it to use on some fall cards.

I had the brilliant idea to make a cards that would be easier to mail, so relatively flat. And of course, I wanted to make a series. So I chose to mask all my stamped images so I could stamp them in nice clusters. But if that wasn’t time consuming enough, I also decided to watercolour each image. So, after two weeks of colouring images in my free craft time, I was finally ready to put the cards together.

That process ended up being quite speedy actually. The papers from Doodlebug match up so well and make for beautiful backgrounds for my focal point images.
