I had a moment of weakness – okay I have a lot of those when it comes to scrapbook supplies – but I couldn’t resist this little Viking from My Favorite Things. He’s so cute and comes with some really funny little sentiments.
I stamped my little Viking on Spectrum Noir smooth cardstock with Memento Black ink and then coloured him in using my Spectrum Noir markers.
I had a vision of him standing on a hillside and wanted to use those stitched hill dies I’ve seen so often, but I didn’t have those dies. So I pulled out my trusty Silhouette Cameo and found a pattern that worked. Unfortunately, getting clean stitches on the Cameo at that size is a little tough – I’ve since invested in the steel thinlit dies – but for this card it worked out ok.
Then I matched the scene with the stone wall patterned paper from the BoBunny Enchanted Garden 6×6 paper pack and there he is, ready to storm the castle!
