Well, Canada Post almost derailed another holiday card sending season for me with their strike. However, as of October 12th, word has it they’re going to rotating strikes and not nationwide. So, I took a chance and decided to send out this years Halloween card stash. Unfortunately, knowing the chances of International delivery making it, I’ve held those ones back and will send next year. On the bright side – I’ve got a jump on my 2026 cards!
I decided to make a series of cards featuring the Simon Says Stamp Halloween Treats stamp and die set I picked up a few years back on a post Halloween sale. I coloured all the images using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and used the dies to cut them out. I tend to save money on dies and just fussy cut, but I gotta say, having the dies makes things so much easier.
Then I just selected some complimentary patterned paper from my ever growing stash of Halloween paper packs, picked out a sentiment and my Halloween card making season began.
