So this stamp set was originally designed for autumn – after all, it is called Fall Frenchies. I purchased it late in the fall season however, and didn’t get time to make any cards with it this year. But it was sooooo darned cute, I just had to find a way.
So for this card I pulled out the little cocoa drinking Frenchie and stamped him in Memento Tuxedo Black in on Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock. Then I coloured him in, using festive holiday colours, using my Spectrum Noir markers.
I fussy cut him out and attached him to a stacked set of stitched rectangles, to use as the focal point of my card. Then I used two of the patterned papers from the Carta Bella Christmas Market paper pack to create the background for my card.
I added two snowflake punches, to add that little bit of extra Christmas feeling, and then a sentiment strip which I stamped using the My Favorite Things Bitty Holiday Wishes stamps – a new favourite for sure!
I absolutely love these little characters, and you’ll be seeing more of them in the future.
