Drippy Dracula
Cards, Halloween Cards

Drippy Dracula

I knew when Tim Holtz came out with his Monstrous stamp set last year that I just had to have it. So many great characters and sentiments for my Halloween cards that I couldn’t resist.

Dracula is just one of the 5 characters in this set and I used my Spectrum Noir markers to colour him in. I used another Tim Holtz stamp, Skulls & Cobwebs f

For the layer behind my character, I used a patterned paper from the Recollections Ravenshead Manor Collection. The spooky classified newsprint was awesome, but I needed to push it into the background more, as it was a bit too overpowering for my Dracula, so I sprayed a light layer of Dylusions Ink Spray in Slate Grey over it. This is a great way to make soften a patterned paper and make it a bit more subtle.

Then I added my sentiment and the top border, cut using the Martha Stewart Drippy Goo punch and made extra shiny with a coating of Glossy Accents. Love that still wet blood look!
