If you’ve been following along with all my cards this Holiday season, then you know I’ve been relying heavily on the Carta Bella Christmas Market paper collection. While this card is no exception, I hope I’ve shown that you can get a lot of variety out of one paper pack. In fact, I’m hoping in the new year I might try my hand at posting some videos showing cards made from the same products and/or paper lines. Now, back to the card at hand…
I really liked the ephemera tag that came in the Christmas Market collection, and I wanted to try using it on a card. I decided to jazz it up a bit by adding fine glitter on all the tree branches to really make the snow sparkle. I also added a few stickers from the sticker sheet on the tag – the little circle stickers with the snowflakes.
Once I finished the tag I just needed to select a few pieces of patterned paper and layout the card base. For this card I chose a simple vertical center stripe design. Once the base was complete, I added a few loops of bakers twine and then attached my tag on top.
I really love the way this design turned out, and a card is always better when it has glitter right?
